Surface polishing method for grinding tools

Author: LINYI GUOMAI ABRASIVES TIME:2023-06-03VIEWS: 224

Abrasive tools are widely used in machinery manufacturing and other metal processing industries. They are also used for processing non-metallic materials such as grain processing, paper industry and ceramics, glass, stone, plastic, rubber, wood and so on. It is a tool for grinding, grinding and polishing. In addition to the use of chemical treatment, the surface of the grinding tool means that the surface of the surface of the material in the chemical medium is dissolving preferentially from the concave part, and thus the method of the smooth surface is obtained. What's the way to do it?

1, mechanical polishing: mechanical polishing is a method of polishing the smooth surface by cutting the plastic deformation of the surface of the material by cutting the convex part of the polished material, usually using the oil stone strip, the wool wheel, the sand paper, the sand belt, the nylon wheel and so on, mainly by manual operation. The special parts, such as the turntable surface, can use the auxiliary tools such as the turntable and the surface quality. The method of superfine polishing can be used with high quantity.

2, magnetic abrasive polishing: magnetic abrasive polishing is the use of magnetic abrasive in the magnetic field to form abrasive brush, grinding workpiece. This method has high processing efficiency, good quality, easy control of processing conditions and good working conditions. With suitable abrasives, the surface roughness can reach Ra0.1 m.

3. Fluid polishing: fluid polishing relies on high-speed flowing liquid and its abrasive particles to wash the surface of the workpiece to achieve the purpose of polishing. Commonly used methods are abrasive abrasive jet machining, liquid jet machining, fluid dynamic grinding and so on. Hydrodynamic grinding is driven by hydraulics, so that liquid media carrying abrasive particles can flow across the workpiece surface at high speed.

4, electrolytic polishing: the basic principle of electrolytic polishing is the same as chemical polishing, that is, by selectively dissolving the tiny protruding part of the material surface, making the surface smooth. Compared with chemical polishing, the effect of cathode reaction can be eliminated and the effect is better. The electrochemical polishing process is divided into macro leveling and micro leveling.

5, ultrasonic polishing: put the workpiece into the abrasive suspension and put it in the ultrasonic field together, depending on the oscillating effect of ultrasonic, grinding and polishing the abrasive on the surface of the workpiece. Ultrasonic machining has little macroscopic force and will not cause deformation of workpiece, but the manufacture and installation of tooling are more difficult. Ultrasonic machining can be combined with chemical or electrochemical methods.
